JUDGE [Lord Calypho]

There is no higher court

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guild Lore

True gaming communities never die, they just evolve - So sayeth the devious Kazim

Once again new challenges loom over the horizon and the warriors of Judge are called to arms. New fights, new foes and first and foremost new and old friends to share the experience with. The challenge in front of us is the Guild Wars 2. Pick your side and either join us on the battlefield or get stomped to the ground, your choice.

But now some real background information about our guild. Many of our players started MMOs when the whole genre was in its infancy. The community really started in AoC where we were known as SCUM. During our stint in AoC we ruled our server and we stood against the combined might of the whole server, be it mass pvp, structured PVP or endgame raiding.

After AoC we have played in many games under either the name SCUM, Judge or something else. Rift, Aion, SWTOR and many other games. In these games we made our presence felt before the problems inherit to the games drove the bulk of us away. Regardless of the game we have always focused mainly on PVP while devoting some time to PVE and respecting RP. A good testimony to our prowess is that many of our old enemies have later joined our ranks in other games or even changed their faction in our current games to play with us.

We offer a website, voice comms, organized PVP and PVE with a dash of RP (if somebody wants to RP we won't stop you, we might even help out). Find your guild for GW2 today and maybe at the same time you will find your future gaming home with us. Future is unknown but some things like friendship and comradery make it more fun for sure.

Guidelines and Rules

1. We use software for verbal communication as this is necessary for good teamplay and guild atmosphere, that means that when we play we use Teamspeak.

2. Follow orders of the guild leader and the officers. Especially on PvP operations follow first, question later. There will be always time for discussions but in the heat of the fight full obedience is the way to success.

3. Respect each other, a big part of a great gaming experience comes out of the interaction between guild members. Like in every community drama happens, but when you see it don't be a part of it, just inform an officer and let him/her solve the matter.

4. Regularly check Guild forums. Not only does it show your motivation of being a Judge, it’s also where you find a lot of really useful information that will improve your gaming experience and keep you updated of guild matters.

5. Do not post or talk in any official channel or forum in the name of the guild, only diplomatic officers have the right to do that. Even when you're posting your own opinions, don't act childish, as you do represent Judge.

6. Our mentality is that we help each other, besides trying to have as much fun as possible.

7. And remember a guild and your experience with it is what you make of it. Don’t be afraid of being different or being yourself. Don't be afraid of stepping up to take responsibility, we'll always need more responsible officers.
